SAMBHAV Smartphone: The Indian Army had used ‘Sambhaav’ smartphone for secure communication during talks with China in October. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi also confirmed this in his annual press conference. About 30 thousand smartphones have been given to the officers. The numbers of officers are already fed in these phones. The special thing is that different apps are available in these. These smartphones have a special app for sending photos, videos or documents which is completely secure and there is little chance of data leakage. Let us tell you that the ‘Sambhaav’ smart phone project was started only last year.

Know what is ‘possible’?

Actually, these smartphones have been developed as a means of leak-proof and secure communication. Sambhav is short form of Secure Army Mobile Bharat Version. With this, important documents, photos and videos can be shared. Also, these phones work on Airtel and Jio networks. The Army hopes that this will reduce the problem of leaking of important documents.

Know what is the specialty of this smartphone?

Let us tell you that earlier many army officers used WhatsApp and other similar apps to share information and documents. But this often led to information being leaked. The numbers of all important officials are already present in the ‘Sambhaw’ phone. Therefore there is no need to save the number separately.

The Indian Army has itself developed ‘End-to-End Secure Mobile Ecosystem’. It provides secure communication with instant connectivity. This smartphone works on 5G technology and is completely encrypted. This means that the conversations and data happening on this phone remain completely secure.
