It is claimed in these messages that your parcel has not been delivered due to wrong address. Also, a link is given on which it is asked to update the address and give the service charge so that the parcel can be sent again. These messages are exactly like real in appearance, but its purpose is only to steal personal information and money of the people.

When the user clicks on that link, he reaches a fake website that is prepared by scammers. Here the user records his personal details or payment information. All his information is found by the thugs. After this, they can blow money from the user’s bank account or use their data in wrongdoings.

The surprising thing is that these messages are also being received by such people who would not have even ordered any parcel order. But due to the real -like content, many people get into deception.

So if you get a message related to a parcel and ask to click on a link or pay it, then be careful. Do not share any details without confirmation and delete such messages immediately or report in cyber cell.

Apart from this, avoid sharing OTP or other important information to any unknown person. Cyber fraud cases are growing very fast in the country. In such a situation, one of your mistakes can be very heavy to you. That is why always avoid such things that you find sensitive.
