Material for making oats cheela

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup dal (moong or gram dal)

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)

  • 1 tomato (finely chopped)

  • 2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste (according to test)

  • Green coriander (finely chopped)

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

  • Taste salt

  • Water

  • Oil (to fry cheela)

Follow these steps to make tasty oats cheela

  • Step 1- Put oats and lentils in a mixer and grind it thick, that is, do not make the mixer very finely.

  • Step 2- Make a thick solution by adding some water to the ground oats. Add all spices and chopped vegetables to this solution.

  • Step 3- Keep the solution for 10-15 minutes so that the oats swell well.

  • Step 4- Heat non-stick pan and add some oil. Make a thin cheela by spreading the solution in a pan.

  • Step 5- You cook it till it becomes golden from both sides and your tasty-Heli oats chila is ready.
