Iran Missile Technology: Iran has recently revealed its new medium -range ballistic missile ‘Qasim Basir’ which can become a serious headache for countries like the US and Israel. How did Qasim Basir name

The name ‘Qasim Basir’ is named in memory of General Qasim Sulemani who was killed in an American drone attack near Baghdad Airport in 2020. General Sulemani was considered the most influential person after Ali Khamenei, head of Iran’s Quds Force and the country’s supreme leader.

Qasim Basir’s technique

The missile is considered to be the next generation of Shaheed Haj Qasim missile which was introduced in 2020. Its two-step solid fuel engines make it faster and are also suitable for prolonged collections. It can fly with an explosive load of 500 kg.

The missile has an incentive navigation system with electro-optical infrared Sikar that enables it to make a final identity of the target even without GPS. Its Marv (Menuvilable Reointment Vehicle) gives it the ability to change the direction by going to the target, which makes it difficult to intercept the enemy’s defense.

This missile can also penetrate the accurate target during electronic warfare, which makes it possible to attack airbase, military command centers and critical infrastructure. Also, its mobile launch system which resembles common civil vehicles makes it difficult for enemies to identify and destroy it.

Its modular design makes it a large -scale manufacturing, which can also be beaten by the numbers of the enemy’s defense system.
