The wait for OnePlus 15 is about to end and it will be launched today in India and other global markets. Before the launch, this phone was listed on an e-commerce platform, due to which its price has been leaked. Along with the price, information about its storage variant and color options has also been revealed. This phone will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This is going to be the first phone to be launched in India with this chipset.
Features of OnePlus 15
Last month, this phone was launched in China with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which supports 165Hz refresh rate. It has got an octa-core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is paired with Adreno 840 GPU. It runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and the phone has been provided with glacier cooling system and vapor chamber to prevent heat during gaming etc.
The battery and camera are strong
Triple camera setup has been given in OnePlus 15 rear. It will come to India with a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultrawide lens and 50MP telephoto sensor. This setup can shoot 8K video at 30 fps. Its front has a 32MP lens for video calls and selfies. This phone was launched with a 7,300mAh battery, which supports 120W Super Flash Charge wired charging and 50W wireless flash charging.
How much will it cost?
According to the leak, the ultra-violet color 12GB + 256GB variant of this phone was listed on the e-commerce website for Rs 72,999. However, this page itself was immediately removed. According to reports, customers may have to pay Rs 79,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant of the phone. However, this is not the official price and the company has not given any information regarding this from its side.
competition
OnePlus 15 could be the company’s most expensive phone in India. In terms of price, its competitors may be overpowered. Actually, iQOO 15 is also going to be launched soon and it will also come with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Its price is expected to be around Rs 60,000. In such a situation, in terms of price, iQOO 15 may outweigh the phones launched by OnePlus today.
