AC Installation Tips: As soon as the summer season starts, people first think of buying air conditioner (AC). But if you are going to get AC installed in your house for the first time, then it is not enough to shop just by looking at the brand or ton capacity. If the necessary things are not taken care of, then it can also cause trouble and disadvantage instead of giving rest. Let us know what special care should be taken while buying and applying AC.
Select the right ton
The ton capacity of AC depends on the size of the room. If the room is big and you get the AC of low ton, then it will not give the right cooling and electricity consumption will also increase. Usually 1 ton for 100 to 120 square ft rooms, 1.5 tonnes for 150 to 180 square feet and 2 tons for more than it are considered AC fit.
Right Wiring and MCB (Mini Circuit Breker)
AC is a heavy electrical device, so it requires strong wiring and special MCB. If AC is run on the old wires, the wiring can be hot and the risk of short circuit or fire increases. In such a situation, always get a wiring check with a qualified electrician and get MCB with the right rating.
Choose inverter or non-inverter AC thoughtfully
Inverters AC eat less electricity and also save electricity when running for a long time but they are slightly expensive. At the same time, non-inverters ACs are cheap but do more electricity consumption. In such a situation, you should think before buying inverters or non-inverter AC.
May be correct instead of ventilation and installation
Put the AC outdoor unit at a place where the wind flow is good. Putting a closed place or a close near the wall can make the unit overheet and may cause a blast or malfunction. Also, the height and inclination of the indoor unit should also be technically correct. Apart from this, before purchasing AC of any brand, please check its service and warranty. Good brands usually offer a compressor warranty of up to 10 years.
